Holding Hands

I don't think there is much that is cuter than one year olds playing chase...except maybe babies holding hands.

I was lucky enough to witness both of these activities in abundance today. Little E and Parker chased each other around the house this morning and this afternoon to squeals of delight (and they enjoyed it too). It was adorable; especially since they don't really know how to bend from below the hips so it was a slower game than you or I would play.

When Little E gets excited now, she rocks from side to side a bit like Stevie Wonder's signature move. So when Parker would approach, Little E would make her way to the wall, hold on and rock and shriek and giggle until Parker stopped and the tables turned.

Aside from that our day included a walk to the Outpost cafe with our friends Shannon and Jude. Along the way the girls would reach over from our double stroller for Jude's hand, and he would reach back for one or other of the lucky ladies and they would hold on until we hit a bump or swerved away from a post or something. So sweet.

Here are some shots from today and a couple of good ones a friend sent from Little E's party.
